Back Jack

I love going to the computer lab. It's totally empty and filled with 5 people! A million questions go unresolved. I try, fail, fail, success is only a trial away. Please would you help me. Forgive me for all these things that I have done. So lost in this slew of emotion, don't know what so say. Summer is near and there is nothing to keep at bay. I promised you I would never give up. I will never forget you. I go on each day living my life with a hope.

Class was only 15 min!

So today class was only 15 minutes! All we did was an exercise that had us follow a "road" on a piece of paper without lifting our pencils. Then we had to do the same exercise only with a mirror reflecting our course and a paper covering the road. This exercise was so frustrating because everything was backwards and when I would get off track it took a huge effort to get back on track. The exercise was to show the perspective of the audience; reading our essays. The exercise allowed me to realize that when I write it takes little effort to write the initial essay, but then when the audience reads the essay they struggle to try to find the direction. So as a writer I need to keep the audience in mind and take care of them so they do not get lost in my composition. Just as in life, we must make actions that are clear and concise allowing those around us to understand the direction where we are headed. Yet, we must first know the direction that we want to go!

Anyway... Learning is awesome!

For the past 2 weeks I have been working on a paper for my English class. I can officially say that I have FINISHED IT! I'm so excited that it's done. Thank You David for being a great editor and printer, Thank You Ariel for putting up with my crap and showing me how to be a better writer. Thank You Alise for knowing so much about this paper. Thank You Sis. Welch for answering my e-mails on sunday nights and weekends, answering the questions of a fatigued college student. Thank You Blair for keeping me focused. Thank You CC for telling me to take a break from my paper so I dont go crazy. Thank You God for giving me the inspiration to write this paper. There deserves to be a thoudand more people that need to be thanked, sorry if I forgot you.

The maiden post

I have no idea what to write in this initial post, yet, I feel so much inside that I need to type out. I am thankful for learning today. I love learning and today especially meant a lot. I have 4 classes today and I have attended 2 all ready. Learning is such an amazing experience! Learning is everywhere: books, people, inspiration, experience...the list is endless. But to learn we must take a conscious effort to internalize what is read, said, or experienced, and digest what it means. For our internal organs digesting food is a natural process, but, for our minds the process is dependent upon ourselves putting forth the effort. At times the process of learning hurts. Yet life goes on. When at times our lives feel like they are upside down and we feel as if what we feel should stop the world for just an instant, quite the opposite happens. The world continues to progress forward, leaving your lone self, full of hurt and pain to heal. Why must this happen? To learn! Everything we experience in life is to teach us! To prepare us for something better. To make us a little stronger. Learning must be embraced by every individual. Learning is for all of us and is something we all can do! To my friends and family, thank you for teaching me, and being a catalyst in the teaching process. Have a splendid day!
